Yes, even though our business name is the sound that a dog makes we are an equal opportunity pet sitting service!

We do love our kitties.

Approximately half of the animals we care for in Marin are of the feline variety.

We even have special Marin pet sitters who specialize in cats.

Two of our Marin pet sitters, Tamara and Linda H., have started and run feline rescue organizations out of their passion for cats. They are our resident cat experts.

Pilling cats can be quite a feat as anyone who has tried knows!

These wonderful women, let me tell you, are masters at the art of pilling cats.

And insulin shots? You bet. When it comes to cats they do it all.

So, if you are a kitty owner and are looking for cat sitting in Marin don’t let our bark scare you off.

We love our kitties just as much as we love our woofers.

Yep, we do.

Hello animal lovers and especially those of you who want a couple of ultra-loving, beautiful new kitties.

I had a nice chat with a woman yesterday who is looking for a new home for 2 kitties. If you or someone you know is interested please contact her.

Meow, Meow, (because we are an equal opportunity pet care service and don’t just care for dogs like our name might imply!)

-Kristin from WOOF!

Rachael writes:

Hi Kristin,

Thank you again for helping us find a home for our beloved Siamese brothers. We’ve had Bluey and Brownie since they were tiny (the names were meant to be temporary, but stuck! Bluey is the blue point and Brownie is a seal point Siamese) and due to some challenging circumstances (parents divorced and our mom is in a rental that won’t accept pets while our dad has pet allergies) we have to find them a new home as soon as possible.

The brothers are about 10 years old, in excellent health, and have been indoor cats their whole lives. They are both very affectionate and mellow, love belly rubs and being brushed, and are very vocal (in typical siamese fashion!). They are just really good beings, and we hope to find someone who is looking for sweet companions.

If you know of anyone who might be interested, please let me know (or have them contact me directly: r.schwartz@ucla.edu or (415) 302-9915) and I’d be so happy to arrange a time for them to come meet the boys.

Pictures are attached.
Thank you again,

Rachel

I started a house-sit with a 17-year-old cat named Cookie. She is cute and is like a typical woman who has many years under her belt… stubborn, knows what she wants, and doesn’t waste time on frivolous chit chat.

Cookie woke me up at 4 a.m. to play. I figured, she’s 17, of course I’m going to indulge her, sleepy as I was. In a bit I have to administer meds to her via an inhaler. I love being around animals. They open my heart!

PS from Kristin: Kate took the great picture of Cookie too-she’s a great photographer!)
